| Treatment center opens new office |

Turbotville -- As part of its effort to expand services and reach those in need, Bethesda Day Treatment Center, Inc. has added another licensed outpatient drug and alcohol facility. The new facility is located at the Administrative Office located at 5972 Susquehanna Trail, Turbotville. The new facility is licensed under the Department of Health’s Division of Drug and Alcohol Program Licensure and is approved by the Department of Public Welfare as a Medical Assistance provider. Dr. Vikas Passi, MD, Family Practice Center, P.C. serves as the program’s medical director. Jerilyn Keen, President of the Organization, serves as the project director. |
Bethesda’s
Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Program has been licensed by the Pennsylvania
Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Programs (BDAP) since 1991.
With the addition of this new facility, Bethesda now operates 10
treatment facilities in Bloomsburg, East Stroudsburg, Honesdale,
Lehighton, Lewistown, Milton, Montoursville, Scranton, South Montrose and
Turbotville. Working
from these treatment centers, Bethesda serves the youth and families from
26 counties and more than 65 public school districts throughout the state.
Bethesda’s Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Program also serves the
local adult population. The
therapeutic approach used by Bethesda focuses on group and individual
therapy. Bethesda’s
treatment program also involves family therapy if deemed appropriate. |
